FALLBROOK ART CENTER:

     Starting March 21st, you can purchase a one of a kind watercolor called  "Coming in for a Landing"  a full color Fall scene of Canada Geese (18 by 28 inches) which was accepted  into the  17th Annual  Signature Watermedia Exhibition at the Fallbrook Art Center  from March 21, 2026 through April 18, 2026.  This colorful transparent watercolor painting can be yours!  The opening reception for Fallbrook Art Gallery was on March 21st but the painting will be at the Fallbrook Art Center until April 18th. Cliff  is a "Master" Watercolor Artist  with Watercolor West, and famous for his bold colors and strokes.  

HERE ARE THE CALIFORNIA ART CLUB EXHIBITS:

       Another special opportunity for the art collector looking for an oil painting of the GRAND CANYON can be seen locally at  a museum in the Orange County area.  A magical snow scene was painted by Cliff in a size that was small enough to carry home in a car and large enough to study for years!  It is Cliff's  18 x 24 inches  oil painting of the Grand Canyon called "Our 15th National Park" .  The painting was chosen for the  115th California Art Club's  GOLD MEDAL EXHIBITION to be held at the Hilbert Museum of California Art at Chapman University in Orange, CA from June 13, 2026 through Sept. 11, 2026.  This is no ordinary exhibition.  A select number of artists were selected to show their best works.  Cliff's painting is extraordinary because of its depth with subtle color changes in the background and full of bright colors in the foreground.  We hope a special art collector will inquire about tickets to attend the opening reception on June 13th from 5 pm to 8 pm to see this special painting!  And...maybe fall in love with it, and want to take it home!  

     If you are a golfer and an art collector, there is another special painting of a famous  tree  that has stood along the 17 mile drive at Pebble Beach.  Hundreds of visitors have been amazed as they discover the "lone Cypress tree boldly lifting its branches toward the open sky".  Cliff had studied it over the years and has painted the scene in watercolor.  It is called, "Still Standing Along 17 Mile Drive", and the 14 x 20 inch watercolor is handsomely framed and will be on display at the CALIFORNIA ART CLUB GALLERY at 1120 Old Mill Road, in San Marino, CA from May 14, 2026 through Oct. 4, 2026.

AMERICAN PLAINS ARTISTS

       Cliff is also a SIGNATURE ARTIST  of the American Plains  Artists.  Keep an eye out for the 2026 APA ad coming up in WESTERN ART AND ARCHITECTURE MAGAZINE showing Cliff's new  15  by 30 inch oil painting of five prairie dogs entitled, "Looks Like He Is Top Dog!"  Cliff loves to paint wildlife and he could not resist painting the five prairie dog's faces that seem to recognize the "leader of the pack".   We hope a special art collector will find this painting irresistible!  Better yet, we hope that collector will find personal pleasure in hanging it in his home or business.

    Cliff continues to win awards for his bold and colorful paintings.  He received the  American Plains Artists  Best of Show $1,000 Award  for  his oil painting of a Zuni Indian girl entitled "Little Winner".   He  also received an award  FROM THE LAGUNA PLEIN AIR ARTISTS for a watercolor painting that was on display at the gallery of  the Laguna Plein Air Artists.  

     Cliff's art has been seen throughout the U.S. at various galleries and museums.  The  American Plains Artists selected Cliff's conte drawing for his third Publishers Award and the full page editorial in the Western Art Collector Magazine.  He also received his second Publishers Award from the American Plains Exhibition which was held at the Museum of Western Art in Kerrville, Texas.   

         It is so exciting to be an artist and to have friends and collectors  follow us over the years.  Painting the faces, wildlife and American landscapes  has  been Cliff's  passion for over 40 plus years.  We look forward to hearing from you!
