1. See Cliff's art at the American Plains Artists Signature Exhibit at the Prairie Arts Center in North Platte, Nebraska from Sept. 6-28, 2024 . Cliff will have two special originals : A 14 x 11 Oil Painting of a fully dressed mountain man on his horse entitled "Trapper" and a 13 x 20 inch pencil (graphite) drawing of Navajo Indians with their dog and horse entitled "Taking a Break". 2. The California Art Club presents Cliff's original 7 x 5 oil painting entitled, "Little Winner" at the California Art Club Gallery at 1120 Old Mill Rd in San Marino, CA, 91106 from Sept. 19.. 2024 through Jan. 12, 2025. Check out the California Art Club online or in person at the Gallery
3. The Oil Painters of Ameria has selected Cliff's 24 x 18 boldly painted original of a fully dressed mountain man describing his life and adventures in "Telling His Story" at the Phippen Museum, 4701 Highway 89 in Prescott, AZ. from Oct. 12. 2024 through Jan 5, 2025. The Phippen Museum has one of Cliff's original Grand Canyon oil paintings in their permament art collection as well. To go online, go to the Western Exhibit of the Oil Painters of America.
Cliff has had an exciting year having his art in past exhibitions showing his original watercolor paintings which have been selected to show in 2024 at four California Exhibitions:
1. The Fallbrook Art Center selected "Naptime" a 10 x 14 of an American buffalo for their Signature Watercolor Show.
2. At the Laguana Plein Air Artists Gallery Cliff sold a watercolor painting of a boat entitled, "Time to Repair" in their competitive Watermedia Exhibition this summer.
3. Cliff's Watercolor entitled "Summer at Arches" was available at the California Art Club "Sensations of Summer" online exhibit from June 21-Sept. 19th.
4. Come to the California Art Club Gallery in San Marino, CA to see Cliff's Oil painting, entitled "Little Winner" at their 2024 Fall Exhibition Sept. 19, 2024 and continuing to Jan. 12, 2025. This special painting captures an Indian Girl's inner joy after winning a dance competition in Santa Fe, N.M. It is available for purchase directly at the Gallery.
If you are traveling to Texas and Nebraska, you can find
two different original oil paintings for sale:
1. "Shy and Hesitant" an 11 x 11 original of an Indian boy which can be purchased at the American Plains Exhibition at the Ft. Concho National Historic Landmark in San Angelo, Texas starting from June 27th to Aug 4th
2. "Ready for Adventure" a 14 x 11 original of a mountain man on his horse at the American Plains Exhibit at the Prairie Arts Center is available from Sept 6-28th.

Back in January 2024 , Cliff's Art was shown at two different art exhibitions::
1. A bright and colorful 8 x 10 oil painting of chickens called, "Fresh Eggs Every Morning" was on exhibit at the California Art Club Gallery in San Marino, CA.
2. A large 36 x 24 conte drawing called, "Getting Ready to Dance" was at the Pearce Museum in Corsicana, Texas. This unique piece received the American Plains Artists Publisher's Award. It resulted in a full page editorial and three of Cliff's oil and watercolor paintings were also published in the Western Art Collector Magazine in their January 2024 issue!
2023 was an exciting year with THREE AWARDS.
1. The first was with the American Plains Artists and wiining the Best of Show $1,000 Award for his 7 x 5 oil painting of a Zuni Indian girl entitled "Little Winner".
2. In July the Laguna Plein Air Artists awarded Cliff with another award for his oil painting, "Rockport".
3. In the Fall, the American Plains Artists selected Cliff's conte drawing for his third Publishers Award and the full page editorial in the Western Art Collector Magazine.
Back in 2022, Cliff received his second Publishers Award from the American Plains Exhibition which was held at the Museum of Western Art in Kerrville, Texas from Feb. 26-March 26, 2022.
His art was also published in the Art of the West Magazine in the June -July 2022 edition. Cliff's first Publisher Award was with the Western Art Collector Magazine.
It is so exciting to be an artist and to have friends and collectors follow us over the years. Painting the faces, wildlife and American landscapes has been Cliff's goal over these last 40 plus years. We look forward to hearing from you!
