Those of you that have an IPhone or Apple Computer using “Quicktime”  can view a video of a variety of Cliff’s Art. We will be updating it soon....Enjoy!

Welcome Friends and Art Collectors!  2017 was a terrific year with Cliff’s art being selected by 10 juried national and international art shows!  We appreciate each person who has attended the receptions and especially those of you who purchased a Cliff Barnes original or print.  Thank you!

Cliff is excited about developing his ideas for reaching new art collectors in new venues and new locations.  Another new event this year is the Wildlife Art Festival at the Bass Pro Shop in Rancho Cucamonga, CA on Friday evening Nov. 17th and all day (10 am to 9 pm) on Nov. 18 and closing earlier on November19th, 2017.  We hope you will find a new painting or new framed print that appeals to you!

We appreciate your feedback as we continue to have Cliff’s art selected in National Competitions and art shows in 2017 including the American Impressionists Society Show in Costa Mesa, CA, the Fallbrook Art Center Signature Watercolor Show in Fallbrook, CA, two American Plains Artists events in Oklahoma and New Mexico, the Cattlemen’s Western Art Show in Paso Robles, the San Dimas Images & History Exhibit in San Dimas, Watercolor West International Exhibit in Brea, CA, the Bosque Art Classic in Clifton, Texas, the Slowpoke Western Art Show in Pismo Beach, and now the Wildlife Art Festival in Rancho Cucamonga, CA.

Three events which will continue through November and December are:

  1. 1. August 3-November 5, 2017 American Plains Artists show at the New Mexico Farm & Ranch Heritage Museum where two special paintings were selected.

2.  Oct. 14-Dec. 17  A special watercolor painting was selected for the National Competition and annual Watercolor West art exhibit shown at the Brea Art Gallery in Brea, CA.

3.  Nov. 17-19 Come see us for your Christmas shopping at a new event, the Wildlife Art Festival which will be held at the Bass Pro Shop in Rancho Cucamonga, CA.  We will be setting up on Friday and be there all day on Sat. and Sun.  This is in conjunction with the Federal Duck Stamp winners which will also be on display.  This is an amazing store with wildlife murals and mounts that would rival wildlife museums!  Our art display will be set up with paintings and prints upstairs (easy access with their elevator).  We hope you will be able to join us.  No entrance fee and the parking is also free!

Cliff continues to compete for awards in National Competitions.  He received the Gold Medal in Watercolor at the April 2017 San Dimas Festival of Art (as well as 2016 Gold Medal in Watercolor and Best of Show Plein Air las year).   The American Plains Artists selected one of Cliff’s  paintings for the  Clyde Heron Award for best depiction of our  American History at their national show in Las Cruces, New Mexico this summer.  Who’s Who in America just awarded Cliff with the Life Time Achievement Award in 2017!

It is always exciting to have highly respected Art Magazines invite Cliff to show his work.  His art was published again in Art of the West for the July-August 2017 Issue.  It was previously published in the Western Art Collector, Southwest Art Magazine and Art of the West issues.
